Delhi - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri

Delhi was our entry point for this trip to India (we arrived from Amsterdam where we had spent a few (too few) days). We had about 4 days in Delhi before we flew onward to Darjeeling (see SASAC portion of the photos). While in Delhi we visited Chandni Chowk (in old Delhi) which is in incredible old bazaar area. The only thing you can do in the Chowk is 'plunge in', get lost in the myriad of lanes and sub-sections of the bazaar, wander about and finally pop out on a more major roadway to find your way home again.

Our SASAC group had a trip to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. This is a lot for one day and it involved a very early start, with a train ride to Agra then travel to the sites and tour etc. We all arrived home late that night quite exhausted from our busy day.

We returned to Delhi for a day prior to travelling home (again via Amsterdam). On that last day we visited two places that we'd enjoyed on earlier visits, the Craft Museum and Nizamuddin and Lodhi Gardens which we hadn't seen before.
